CVE-2024-23590Network attack vector

Authenticated web-session hijacking

Published Nov 4, 2024 · Updated Nov 5, 2024

Session fixation in Apache Kylin 2.0.0 through 4.x allows remote attackers to hijack an authenticated web session. Apache has not disclosed where the web interface accepts or retains an attacker-chosen session identifier. Exploitation requires a victim to authenticate with a session identifier known to the attacker, after which the attacker can reuse the authenticated session.
