Cleartext credential storage in BigFix Asset Discovery through site version 109 allows remote authenticated users to read database credentials. The NMAP Importer stores SQL username and password values under HKLM\Software\BigFix\Enterprise Server\AssetDiscover\NMAP without protecting their contents. The exposure requires authorized Windows Registry access and configured SQL credentials; NT authentication is the documented default.
