Remote code execution via forged session request
Published May 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
CSRF in HCLSoftware HCL BigFix Platform 9.5 through 9.5.24, 10 through 10.0.11, and 11.0.1 allows attackers to execute code. The session-token handling accepts a forged cross-site request as an authorized action; HCL has not disclosed the affected endpoint or validation failure. Exploitation requires a high-privileged authenticated session and user interaction; the reported consequence is code execution without service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
