Oracle credential exposure via endpoint scan files

Credential exposure in HCL BigFix Compliance 9.x, 10.x, and 11.x allows local users to read Oracle scan credentials from endpoint files. The Oracle environment setup passes one username and password to endpoint scan scripts, which write the values in plaintext or encoded form into SCM parameter files. Exploitation requires high local privileges and user interaction; exposed credentials enable unauthorized access to the scanned databases.
