Memory disclosure via unchecked buffer read
Published Apr 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Ivanti Avalanche before 6.4.3 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data from WLAvalancheService memory. The service on default TCP port 1777 fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required; alone, the flaw discloses memory, while code execution requires chaining with another flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
