Stored script execution via unescaped widget settings
Published Jun 6, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in three CAFE widgets in Clever Addons for Elementor 2.1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The CAFE Icon, CAFE Team Member, and CAFE Slider render attacker-controlled widget settings without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required; the stored script runs in the browser of any user who visits the injected page, allowing actions or data access within that user's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
