Domain-admin access via exposed ChangeHumster method
Published Jul 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Authentication bypass in SolarWinds Access Rights Manager 2023.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain Active Directory domain-admin access. The ChangeHumster class exposes a dangerous method without enforcing Active Directory authentication. The attacker needs adjacent-network reachability; successful exploitation grants domain-admin control of the connected Active Directory environment.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
