Improper signature verification in Zscaler Client Connector before 4.2 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through its macOS updater. The Zscaler Updater executes a supplied installer without first validating its digital signature. Exploitation requires low privileges and access to replace or supply the installer, after which untrusted code runs in the updater's execution context.
