Uncontrolled resource consumption in affected Elastic Kibana releases allows remote authenticated users to interrupt the service. Elastic has not published the parser or processing operation that exhausts resources when a crafted custom osquery pack is uploaded. Exploitation requires a high-privilege account permitted to create custom osquery packs, and the reported consequence is loss of Kibana availability.
