Transient modem outage via malformed ciphering key data

Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon modem firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt service through a malformed registration accept message. The Multi-Mode Call Processor reads beyond incorrect-length ciphering key data while parsing the over-the-air message. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is a transient modem outage rather than data access or persistent damage.
