TLS private-key disclosure via XDCR logging
Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 13, 2024
Information disclosure in Couchbase Server before 7.2.4 allows local users to obtain the XDCR TLS private key from goxdcr.log. The XDCR component writes the private key used for cross-datacenter replication into its troubleshooting log instead of excluding secret key material. Access to the node's restricted log directory is required, and the resulting disclosure is limited to environments where the exposed key remains trusted.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
