Authenticated database disclosure via nested IPAddr injection
Published Mar 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024
SQL injection in Netentsec NS-ASG Application Security Gateway 6.3 allows remote authenticated users to query its database via IPAddr. The /protocol/index.php addmacbind handler incorporates the nested IPAddr value into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax. A valid PHP session is required; the public error-based payload invokes updatexml to disclose database output, while broader read or write effects are not demonstrated.
