Out-of-bounds read in Apple ImageIO in macOS before 14.4 and visionOS before 1.1 allows attackers to execute code by processing an image. ImageIO reads beyond an intended memory boundary because it does not adequately validate untrusted image input before processing. Triggering the flaw requires user interaction with an image, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary code in the affected process context.
