Administrator-session script execution via raw form-log email
Published Jan 23, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Appleple a-blog cms 3.1.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The themes/system/admin/form/log.html template applies the raw formatter to attacker-controlled mail_to data instead of escaping it before rendering. Exploitation requires an installed form with logging enabled and an administrator to open the poisoned form-log view, exposing that browser session to script actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
