CVE-2024-23155

Code execution via unchecked MODEL file length

Published Jun 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2025

Heap-based buffer overflow in Autodesk AutoCAD and AutoCAD-based products allows attackers to execute code through a crafted MODEL file. The atf_asm_interface.dll parser copies user-supplied MODEL data into a fixed-length heap buffer without first validating its length. A user must open the file or visit malicious content on Windows; successful exploitation executes code in the current process or crashes it.
