Memory corruption via CATPRODUCT parser out-of-bounds write
Published Jun 25, 2024 · Updated Jan 22, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in CC5Dll.dll in Autodesk AutoCAD products 2022 through 2025 allows context-dependent attackers to corrupt memory. The parser writes outside valid memory while processing crafted CATPRODUCT file content. A user must open the file, and code execution in the current process requires chaining this flaw with another vulnerability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=2022 <2022.1.5
- Affected versionversion=2023 <2023.1.6
- Affected versionversion=2024 <2024.1.4
