Code execution via ABC parser out-of-bounds write
Published Mar 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Autodesk FBX Review 1.5.3.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through a crafted ABC file. The ABC parser insufficiently validates user-supplied data and writes past the end of an allocated data structure. A target must visit a malicious page or open the file; successful exploitation runs code in the current process, while failed attempts can crash it or corrupt data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <1.5.3.0
