Code execution via uninitialized file-parser memory
Published Feb 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2025
Uninitialized memory access in ODXSW_DLL.dll in Autodesk AutoCAD 2021 through 2025 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted files. The STP and SLDPRT parser accesses memory that was not properly initialized, allowing attacker-controlled file content to influence execution in the current process. Exploitation requires an end user to open or import a malicious file, and Autodesk states that only Windows versions of the listed products are affected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
