Process code execution via IGS use-after-free
Published Feb 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2025
Use-after-free in tbb.dll in affected Autodesk AutoCAD products allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a crafted IGS file. The IGS parser reuses memory after it has been freed while processing attacker-controlled file content; Autodesk has not disclosed a narrower function-level locus. A user must open the file in an affected desktop application, and Autodesk bounds code execution to conjunction with other vulnerabilities in the current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
