Memory corruption via crafted STP file parsing
Published Feb 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Memory corruption in Autodesk AutoCAD-based products 2021 through 2025 allows attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted STP file. The import feature parses the file in atf_dwg_consumer.dll, where attacker-controlled content triggers a write access violation. A user must interactively choose the file, and code execution in the current process requires chaining this flaw with another vulnerability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
