Code execution via malformed CAD file parsing

Memory corruption in opennurbs.dll in Autodesk AutoCAD-based products 2021 through 2025 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted CAD file. The 3DM and STP parsing paths fail to validate user-supplied file data before a memory write, producing a write-access violation in the process. A target must visit malicious content or open the file; exploitation runs in the current process and Autodesk states that code execution can require chaining with other flaws.
