Code execution via unchecked SLDPRT buffer copy
Published Feb 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Autodesk AutoCAD products 2021 through 2025 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted SLDPRT file. ODXSW_DLL.dll copies user-controlled data into a fixed-length stack buffer without validating its length. A user must open or import the file on Windows; exploitation can crash the application, expose process data, or run code as the current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
