Process crash via negative-exponent infinite recursion

Stack exhaustion in Apfloat 1.10.1 allows attackers to crash a calling process through DoubleModMath.modPow input. The submitted proof states that base 2.5 and exponent -3.0 send modPow into infinite recursion until the JVM raises StackOverflowError. The trigger requires a caller able to supply those method arguments; multiple third parties dispute that the report establishes a security vulnerability.
