Response manipulation via unvalidated Host header
Published Jan 25, 2024 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
HTTP Host header injection in Plone Docker Official Image 5.2.13 allows remote attackers to manipulate generated responses. The image's HTTP request handling accepts an attacker-controlled Host value without validation, and the published proof of concept shows the resulting response change. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient to submit the header, while user interaction is required for the cited cross-site scripting, cache-poisoning, or session-hijacking consequences.
