Administrator session theft via unencoded num reflection
Published Feb 1, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in EyouCMS 1.6.5 allows remote attackers to steal an administrator's session cookie through a crafted upload URL. The Uploadimgnew get_upload_list action decodes JWT header fields from the info parameter and inserts num directly into an HTML input without output encoding. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open the malicious URL, after which injected JavaScript runs in the EyouCMS origin and reads the administrator session.
