Code execution via unterminated login redirect
Published Jan 30, 2024 · Updated May 29, 2025
Incorrect authorization in BossCMS 1.3.0 allows local users to upload executable PHP files through administrative operations. The init method in system/basic/class/admin.class.php redirects requests with no manager session to the login page but does not terminate execution, so downstream administrative actions still run. The exploit requires access to the affected web interface; uploaded PHP executes under the web service account, while the record does not describe how further privilege escalation occurs.
