Client-side script execution via unsafe DOM rewriting

Cross-site scripting in the Zadarma browser extension 1.0.16 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via crafted messages. The extension scans webpages for telephone-number digits and rewrites the DOM, but crafted phone-number content causes attacker-controlled script execution. A user with the extension installed must view the content on a site without a strict Content Security Policy, exposing that browser session to DOM manipulation and data theft.
