Use of hard-coded credentials in D-Link Go-RT-AC750 firmware 101b03 allows remote attackers to obtain root access through Telnet. The firmware embeds a fixed password for the Alphanetworks account and accepts that credential when authenticating Telnet sessions. Network reachability to the Telnet service is sufficient; successful authentication grants unrestricted root control of the router.
