Router crash via manipulated memory-write commands

Denial of service in Tormach PathPilot Controller 2.9.6 allows remote attackers to crash an xsTECH CNC router via crafted commands. The protocol accepts manipulated write commands targeting Torstep board memory, causing erratic behavior or a crash. Access from an adjacent network requires no authentication, and exploitation can interrupt machining or move the spindle while idle.
