Stored XSS via unescaped widget link URLs
Published Mar 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Better Addons for Elementor 1.4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through widget link URLs. Widget link URL attributes accept contributor-controlled values without sufficient input sanitization, and affected widgets render those values without output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script executes in a visitor's browser whenever the visitor opens the affected page.
