Password change via forged cross-site request
Published Mar 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 22, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Bdtask G-Prescription 1.0 allows remote attackers to change a user's password via a crafted request. The /Setting/change_password_save handler processes a password-reset request without verifying that the signed-in user intentionally submitted it. Exploitation requires that user to interact with attacker-controlled content; the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized password modification, not data disclosure or service interruption.
