Unauthenticated command execution via password parameter
Published Jan 25, 2024 · Updated Jun 4, 2025
Command injection in NETIS SYSTEMS MW5360 1.0.1.3031 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through the login page. The /cgi-bin/skk_set.cgi endpoint accepts a Base64-encoded password value containing backtick-delimited shell input without neutralization. Removing the Authorization header bypasses the login-page gate, so unauthenticated network access is enough to run commands on the router.
