Database query manipulation via interpolated email input
Published Mar 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024
SQL injection in login.php in keerti1924 PHP MySQL User Login System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries via email input. The handler interpolates the POST email value inside a quoted users-table SELECT and passes the resulting string directly to mysqli_query without parameterization or escaping. The endpoint is reachable before authentication, allowing crafted SQL expressions to manipulate account selection and database reads under the application's database privileges.
