Authenticated code execution via saved campaign PHP
Published Jan 25, 2024 · Updated May 30, 2025
Remote code execution in liveSite 2019.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP through campaign content. The add_email_campaign.php handler saves administrator-supplied plain-text campaign body content containing PHP tags and evaluates the injected payload when the campaign is saved. Administrative credentials and campaign-creation access are required; successful exploitation runs operating-system commands with the web application's privileges.
