Arbitrary filter deletion via unchecked bulk action
Published Apr 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 21, 2024
CSRF in Themify WooCommerce Product Filter before 1.4.4 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary filters through an administrator's browser. The wp-admin bulk action accepts action=delete and wpf_post filter slugs from a GET request without a CSRF check, then performs the deletion. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open the crafted URL and requires the attacker to know the targeted filter slugs.
