Database disclosure via unsanitized pharmacy sort parameter
Published Apr 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 4, 2025
SQL injection in OpenEMR 7.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the pharmacy listing interface. The pharmacy listing path passes the user-controlled sort parameter through C_Pharmacy.class.php to Pharmacy.class.php, where it is concatenated into a SQL query without sanitization. A valid OpenEMR session is required, and the demonstrated error-based query discloses the database name and schema count.
