Unauthorized group creation via forged administrator request
Published Jan 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
CSRF in FlyCms 1.0 allows remote attackers to create a group by inducing an authenticated administrator to submit a forged request. The /system/admin/add_group_save endpoint accepts a form-encoded POST containing only an attacker-chosen group name, with no request-bound anti-CSRF value. Exploitation requires user interaction and an active administrator session; the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized creation of a named group.
