Reflected XSS via unvalidated loginTo parameter
Published Aug 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 13, 2024
Reflected XSS in affected InstaRISPACS 3.0.0, 4.0.0, and 5.0.0 builds allows remote attackers to execute script through loginTo. The web interface's user login module reflects the loginTo parameter without sufficient validation, placing attacker-controlled script content in the generated page. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires active user interaction, and successful execution runs the script in the affected user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
