CVE-2024-2257Public exploit

Physical password-policy bypass via missing validation

Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Password policy bypass in Digisol DG-GR1321 firmware 3.2.02 allows physically proximate attackers to create noncompliant passwords. The password-creation path accepts values that violate the router's defined standards because its policy checks are improperly implemented. Physical access is required; the established impact is acceptance of weak passwords, and CERT-In identifies no resulting compromise beyond increased exposure to security threats.
