Browser script execution via unescaped login username
Published Jan 23, 2024 · Updated Jun 5, 2025
Reflected cross-site scripting in JFinalCMS 5.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute script via the /admin/login username parameter. The login endpoint places attacker-controlled username input into a web response without neutralizing active markup. No account is required, but a victim must load the crafted response; the script reads or alters data available to that browser session.
