Stored script execution via unneutralized mobile field
Published Jan 12, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025
Stored XSS in JFinalcms 5.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script or HTML through the guestbook mobile field. The /gusetbook/save handler persists the mobile parameter without neutralizing active markup before later rendering it. A victim must view the saved guestbook entry, where the payload executes as browser-side code in the JFinalcms origin and can read or alter data available to that session.
