Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped LinkWrapper attribute
Published Mar 14, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in LA-Studio Element Kit for Elementor 1.3.7.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via LinkWrapper. The wrapper-link.php extension accepts a user-supplied LinkWrapper attribute in several widgets without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient to store a payload that executes when a user opens the injected page.
