Credential disclosure via unredacted server logging
Published Feb 8, 2024 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Sensitive-information exposure in Dell EMC AppSync 4.2.0.0 through 4.6.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to read user credentials. The AppSync server writes certain user credentials into server logs instead of excluding or redacting them; Dell has not identified the responsible logging call. High-privileged access and user interaction are required, and the exposed credentials grant only the compromised account's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
