Privilege escalation via writable installation-folder files

Improper access control in Dell Display and Peripheral Manager for macOS before 1.3 allows local users to gain elevated privileges. Files in the application installation folder are writable by a low-privilege account and later used for privileged code execution. Exploitation requires low-privilege local access and user interaction, and successful exploitation executes arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
