Authenticated command execution via prototype pollution
Published Jul 24, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Server-side prototype pollution in HPE EdgeConnect SD-WAN Orchestrator allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands. The interface permits request-controlled data to modify Object prototype attributes; HPE has not disclosed the affected endpoint or how polluted state reaches command execution. The issue affects 9.1.0 through 9.1.9, 9.2.0 through 9.2.9, 9.3.0 through 9.3.2, and 9.4.0 through 9.4.1; a high-privilege account and management-interface access are required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
