CVE-2024-22411Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-site scripting via unsanitized Action toast messages

Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 2, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Avo before 2.47.0 or from 3.0.0.beta1 through versions before 3.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script. Avo::BaseAction error and succeed messages pass embedded HTML directly into the completion toast without sanitizing script-capable markup. Exploitation requires an Action to pass attacker-controlled text and a user to complete that Action; the published proof of concept disables CSP.
