Unsafe deserialization in Apache Seata Server 1.0.0 through 1.8.0 and 2.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted RPC requests. The server accepts attacker-supplied bytecode through Seata's private protocol and deserializes the resulting object graph with Hessian. Exploitation requires server authentication to be disabled and direct protocol access without the Seata client SDK, granting the server process's execution rights.
