CVE-2024-22390

Service interruption via improper firmware input validation

Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Improper input validation in ARM Trusted Firmware in Intel Agilex 7 FPGA firmware before 2.9.1 allows local users to interrupt service. The advisory locates the flaw in firmware running in the hard processor system but does not disclose which input is validated incorrectly or how it reaches the failure. Exploitation requires local access and high privileges, and the published impact is limited to device availability.
