External control of critical state data in Gallagher Controller 6000 and 7000 allows remote authenticated users to alter device I/O connections. The diagnostic web interface applies authenticated input to critical I/O connection state, producing unexpected controller behavior. The path exists only when the non-default diagnostic webpage is enabled; successful changes can compromise site physical security controls.
