Unauthenticated deploy-directory file disclosure via path traversal
Published Jul 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Affected PingFederate runtime nodes allow remote attackers to read files from the deploy directory through path traversal. Ping Identity identifies the deploy-directory exposure and path-traversal class but does not disclose the request path or exact canonicalization failure. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented impact is limited to the confidentiality of reachable files.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=10.3.0 <=10.3.13
- Affected versionversion=11.0.0 <=11.0.9
